Antminer S17+ 75TH/s FROM FACTORY
Please note that the 17 series miners require high maintenance and are not recommended for first-time ASIC users. However, the S17pro has a lower fail rate and is a more reliable option. All other models in the 17 series, including the T17 and S17+, T17+, T17e, and S17e, have an incredibly high fail rate. Based on personal experience, I have never had more miners die on me than the 17 series.
S17+ units are an upgraded version of the S17pro with 7 chips added to each hashboard, higher heat, and a more aggressive starting frequency and voltage. Out of the box, the heatsinks are likely to use the glue that was missing in the S17 and T17 models. Using MiningCrate firmware, these units can be tuned to achieve up to 90TH/s air cooled. However, as I have not run these units for an extended period, I cannot speak to their long-term temperature hold up or the need for regluing heatsinks, like in the old S17/T17 models.
For safety reasons, I recommend running the unit at 80TH/s, which is incredibly efficient at 38 watts per 1 TH using MiningCrate firmware. Alternatively, you may request a unit to be stock if you prefer.
